The crowd at Westchase, after all, is usually slightly older and more mature than the crowd in SoHo, downtown Tampa, or the USF area.

Meanwhile Westchase is close to several parks and other natural attractions. It’s also close enough to Tampa that residents can drive to other areas of the city to enjoy entertainment and dining. Since the neighborhood is on the west side of Tampa, it’s an easy drive over to Honeymoon Island, where the ferry heads to Caladesi Island, and where visitors frequently bring their dogs to the designated dog beach.

Getting around Westchase

Some Westchase apartments are situated within walking distance of local businesses or parks. To leave Westchase however, most residents will need to drive. The Veteran’s Expressway gives access to Clearwater, the Tampa International Airport, and I-275, which goes south to St. Petersburg and north to downtown Tampa. Both Hillsborough and Waters Avenues are also close to Westchase, running west into the rest of Tampa, such as Town ‘n’ Country and the south end of Carrollwood.
